ABOUT US

Founded by Dr. Jason Chan and Dr. Masuma Rahim, Zenith Psychology is committed to providing psychologically-driven, evidence-based solutions.

At Zenith, we provide bespoke and collaborative psychological treatment of adult mental health problems. Joint decisions are always made on the basis of comprehensive assessments, and our shared understanding of your individual needs, on the most appropriate therapeutic approach for you. Our clinicians are experts in a wide-range of therapeutic models, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT); mindfulness-based approaches; acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT); compassion-focused therapy (CFT); psychodyanmic psychotherapy; emotion-focused therapy (EFT), trauma-focused therapy using EMDR; and couples’ therapy. We also specialises in adult and paediatric neuropsychological assessments, cognitive rehabilitation and consultation for neuro-rehabilitation programs for sufferers of trauma brain injuries.

Research and evidence-based practice lie at the heart of Zenith Psychology. As well as working therapeutically all our clinicians are dedicated and experienced researchers, with publications in peer-reviewed academic journals and presentations at international conferences.

Zenith Psychology is proud to work with Wellbeing Republic: a consultancy specialising in employee wellbeing. It delivers workshops spanning topics such as mental health, nutrition, and fitness, as well as tailor-made workshops on career and financial wellbeing. As part of its consultancy services it advises on and assists businesses with the implementation of wellbeing strategy and delivers awe-inspiring wellbeing campaigns for those businesses.

DR. MASUMA RAHIM

Clinical Psychologist

Masuma has significant experience in adult mental health, with a particular interest in the areas of mental capacity law, LGBT mental health, and neuropsychology. She was formerly Lead Clinical Psychologist at the Regional Neurological Rehabilitation Unit at Homerton University Hospital; currently she is employed as Principal Clinical Psychologist at Bart's Health NHS Trust. She is Chartered by the British Psychological Society and Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. She writes for the press, including The Guardian, and regularly appears on television.

DR. JASON CHAN

Clinical Psychologist

Jason is a Clinical Psychologist chartered by the Bristish Psychological Society and a BABCP accredited CBT Therapist. Currently employed as Principal Clinical Psychologist at Homerton Univeristy Hospital NHS Foundation Trust alongside his private practice, Jason has extensive clinical experience in adult mental health and specialises in the integration of CBT, Psychodynamic psychotherapy, Emotion-focused therapy (EFT), Mindfulness-based approaches, EMDR and Somatic Experiencing for treatment of complex depression, the full spectrum of anxiety disorders, PTSD and other consequences of psychological trauma and addiction. Jason is also an experienced Neuropsychologist and offers neuropsychological assessment and neuro-rehabilitation. He is able to conduct assessment and therapy in both English and Cantonese. 

DR. ED BEVERIDGE

Consultant Psychiatrist

Ed trained in medicine at Fitzwilliam College Cambridge and Magdalen College Oxford; undertaking specialist psychiatric training at Royal Free and Associated Hospitals, London. He has worked as a consultant psychiatrist since 2008, in both inpatient and currently community mental health. He has a particular interest in improving quality &effectiveness in healthcare and physical health of patients with severe mental illness. He is clinical lead for mental health and behaviour change at UCL Partners and honorary associate professor at UCL. He is a qualified psychosomatic therapist having trained at the Institut Psychosomatique Pierre Marty, Paris. Ed is able to conduct assessments in English and French.

Adam’s  has expertise in offering psychological therapy using a wide range of different therapeutic models including CBT, psychodynamic therapy, systemic, Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), and third wave CBT approaches such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy. He is highly experienced in conducting medicolegal assessments, in particular for extradition and immigration cases. More recently, Adam has also recently started to provide direct clinical work and consultation for a number of Palliative Care services in London.

DR. MICHELLE O'SULLIVAN

Michelle specialises in mental health at work, the treatment of PTSD, as well as depression and anxiety. She primarily works therapeutically using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), but draws on a range of models to meet clients’ unique needs, such as Compassion Focussed Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based approaches. Her research has been published in the Journal of Correctional Healthcare, the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine, Forensic Psychiatry and Psychology, Occupational Health [at Work], and Aggression and Violent Behaviour.

Educational Psychologist & Paediatric Neuropsychologist

Laura is highly experienced in educational and neuropsychological assessments of children with dyslexia, dyscalculia, Autism and Asperger’s syndrome, ADHD, learning difficulties, acquired brain injury. She has worked in the full range of education settings, including state-maintained and private mainstream and special schools, pupil referral units, specialist resource bases attached to schools, and a children and adolescents’ residential rehabilitation centre. She routinely provides support for parents and school staff in setting up and evaluating their own interventions at home and school to very positive outcomes.

DR. BENNY BHANOT

Clinical Psychologist

Benny is a highly experienced clinical psychologist with over 20 years of clinical experience. and specializes in a range of theraupeutic models including CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, Psychodyanmic and behavioural therapies. She is particularly interested in the treatment of childhood or more recent trauma, substance abuse, difficulties with regulating mood and anger, work-related stress, bereavement and complex mental health problems (e.g. psychosis). Benny has provided expertise witness reports to courts to aid with crimial court proceedings. She can offer assessment and treatment in English and Punjabi.

DR. BETH ANFILOGOFF

Counselling Psychologist

Beth has experience working with mild to complex mental health difficulties with individuals and groups. Beth has a particular interest in anxiety, relationship and interpersonal difficulties and trauma (which can be “big” or “small”). She has worked in different NHS settings and also works at The Nightingale Hospital in Marylebone, a private hospital. Beth draws on a range of therapeutic modalities, including CBT and humanistic approaches. She is an optimistic and compassionate clinician who aims to provide you with the insights and skills to meet your therapeutic goals. The therapeutic relationship is the core of Beth’s work, and she meets her clients with warmth and a non-judgemental attitude. Her research interests include psychological and emotional experiences of extreme affluence.

TESSA SAUNDERS

Systemic Psychotherapist

Tessa has substantial experience working with families navigating the complexities of family life. Initially working as a social worker before qualifying as a Systemic Psychotherapist 20 years ago she has worked in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, and as a supervisor for a number of Multi-systemic teams using an evidenced based approach to support parents to maintain young people within their families. Tessa is currently working for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Foundation Trust leading a pilot of Systemic Psychotherapy within Paediatric Psychological Medicine. Tessa is a Systemic supervisor and in her private practice has a particular interest in the intersectionality of Race, Religion and Gender for Black professional women navigating challenges within a work and or family setting.

OUR FEES 

At Zenith Psychology, our fees are fully transparent, charged per 50-minute session (unless otherwise specified) and vary based on the service you require. 

 

Psychological Assessment: £150

Psychological Treatment: £150

Psychiatric Assessment & Treatment: £300 (up to 90 minute)/ £160 (Follow-up)

Neuropsychological Assessment & Neurorehabilitation: £180 (per hour)

Systemic Psychotherapy (Individuals, Couples, and Families): £140-£180 

Executive Coaching: £180

Supervision: £125 (Qualified Clinician) / £70 (Trainee Psychologist/ Psychotherapist)

Sessions are available via video-conference (on Zoom or Skype) and telephone.

Joint-psychological and psychiatric assessments are available. Please contact us for further information.

Fees include:

  • Liaison with health insurance providers to streamline payment process

  • Liaison between your therapist and your GP (if appropriate, and with your consent)

  • Full psychological/psychiatric report of assessment and treatment outcomes

Zenith Psychology is registered with most major health insurance providers and your fees may be covered within your policy limits. We provide psychiatric assessment and referral which some private healthcare insurance companies require before they will process your claim to cover the fees. 


We are health providers for BUPA, AXA PPP, Cigna, Vitality, WPA and Aviva.
